Mumbai, Maharashtra 11:45

A man's scream echoed throughout the penthouse.

Inside the room, a man hung upside down from the ceiling while two guards mercilessly beat him with iron rods. Blood streamed from every part of his body, soaking the floor beneath him. Each strike tore at his bruised skin, leaving fresh wounds.

Suddenly, the door opened.

A tall man walked into the room with an intimidating aura. The moment he entered, a chair was placed in front of him. He sat down calmly, crossed one leg over the other, and with a slight gesture of his eyes, ordered the guards to bring the hanging man down.

The guards obeyed immediately. They untied him, threw him onto the floor, and splashed cold water on his face. Coughing and barely conscious, the half-dead man slowly opened his eyes.

"P-Please... forgive me, Hukum Sa..." he stammered, trembling. "I... I won't do this again. Please forgive me this one time. I swear... I'll be your slave for the rest of my life."

The man smiled coldly. Twirling the gun in his hand, he tilted his head slightly.

"How can I trust you?" he asked calmly. "You committed this crime today. If I let you go now, what guarantee do I have that you won't do it again tomorrow?"

He lifted the man's chin with the barrel of his gun.

"You know... if I handed you over to the police, you'd probably get bail someday. It's much better if you stay with me instead. I'll take care of you personally."

A cruel smile appeared on his lips.

"Now tell me... what punishment should I give you? Should I kill you?"

Those calm, icy words made the man's entire body tremble. He knew how terrifying this man became whenever he spoke so quietly.

"P-Please, Hukum Sa..." he cried. "If I die... my wife and children will be left on the streets."

"You didn't remember your wife and children," the man replied coldly, "when you were raping that girl."

His voice remained steady, yet every word carried terrifying weight.

"She must have begged you to let her go. Did you stop? No. Then why should I spare you now?"

He stood up and looked down at the terrified criminal.

"I am Ekaksh Malhotra, soon to be Hukum Sa of Rajasthan. If any injustice is done to the daughters of my state, I stand with them. I always stand with the truth. I can be the best of the best... and the worst of the worst."

"You snatched a daughter from her mother's lap. Tell me... what should I do with you now?"

A faint smile appeared on Ekaksh's face.

"Hmm... alright. I'll give you two options."

He raised the gun in front of the criminal.

"Option one-this gun has three bullets. Shoot yourself."

He paused for a moment before smiling again.

"Option two... I'll put all three bullets into your head."

He chuckled softly.

"You know, I don't give everyone this choice. Since you're from my kingdom, I'm being generous. Although, to be honest, I didn't even want to give you this opportunity. You came all the way to Mumbai and forced me to leave Rajasthan just because of you."

He shrugged dramatically.

"See how kind I am? I gave you not one... but two options. Not everyone gets that privilege."

He slowly raised three fingers.

"I'll count to three. Decide."

"One..."

"Hukum Sa... please forgive me..."

"Two..."

"I promise... I'll never do it again..."

"Three."

"Hukum Sa, ple-"

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Before the man could finish his sentence, three bullets pierced his head. His lifeless body collapsed onto the bloodstained floor.

The room fell silent.

After a few moments, Ekaksh simply gestured with his eyes. Several guards stepped forward, picked up the dead body, and quietly left the room.

As Ekaksh stood up from his chair, the door opened again.A young man hurried inside

"Bhai Sa," he said respectfully, "Bade Papa wants to talk to you. He said it's something important."

Ekaksh took the phone from him.

"Hmm... Baba Sa, kahiye."

"Baba Sa nahi, tumhari Maa bol rahi hoon," his mother replied from the other end.

A small smile appeared on Ekaksh's face as he walked out of the room.

"Haan, Maa. Kahiye."

"Ghar kab aa rahe ho? You and Reyansh haven't come home for a week. And don't tell me you've forgotten Adarsh's wedding. It's in three days."

"Yes, Maa. I remember," Ekaksh replied. "But I'm busy right now. Reyansh and I can't leave at the moment."

"I don't know anything," she interrupted. "I want both of you at the wedding venue tomorrow. Consider it your mother's order."

"Maa, please try to understand-"

"I've already said what I had to say. Now it's up to you whether you come or not."

Without waiting for another reply, she disconnected the call.

"Bhai Sa, ab kya karoge?" asked Reyansh Malhotra, son of Adhiraj Malhotra and the Kunwar Sa of Rajasthan.

Ekaksh looked toward his PA.

"When is tomorrow's meeting with Mr. Gupta?"

"4 PM, Sir," Naksh answered.

"Do I have anything scheduled between 10 and 11 in the morning?"

"Yes, Sir. You have a meeting with Mr. Srivastava."

"Then reschedule Mr. Gupta's meeting to 1 PM. As soon as it's over, we'll leave for Rajasthan."

"Okay, Sir," Naksh replied.

With that, the three of them left the building, got into the waiting car, and drove toward their hotel.
